Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, brings a solid wealth of top-level experience. He was a part of the Liverpool squad that won the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, Club World Cup and League Cup. He played a significant role under Jurgen Klopp, proving his long-range goals and versatility made him a trusted option in Liverpool’s title winning side. In his Arsenal years, he made more than 190 appearances over six years with The Gunners, establishing himself as one of England’s promising up and coming midfielders before making the switch to Anfield for £35M in 2017.

Celtic are struggling with midfield instability, injuries, and lack of squad depth. The signing of the former Red, signifies years of experience and versatility in challenging conditions. Exactly what, Celtic needs at this moment as they look to overturn a 6 point deficit to Hearts at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Earlier this week, Martin O’Neil, has expressed, “I have spoken to him, but I am sure he has plenty of options, maybe closer to London."

Oxlade-Chamberlain had been photographed in recent months training with Arsenal, however, no intent has been shown by the Premier League leaders to secure his services 9 years down the line from his departure.
