Liverpool made up for Tuesday's agonising late defeat with an efficient and calm performance which sees the Reds advance to the Last 8 of the Emirates FA Cup. Rio Ngumoah shone in rare minutes for the youngster whilst Vice-Captain Andrew Robertson made his presence known.

Here we go again. Just 72 hours after a damaging league defeat to bottom-placed Wolves, Liverpool are heading back to Molineux with a point to prove. The last trip was flat, frustrating, and potentially costly in the race for next season’s Champions League. Now the Reds get an immediate shot at redemption.

Following the 5-2 demolition of West Ham at Anfield, Slot’s men travel to the Midlands to play relegation-fighting Wolves.  If Liverpool wins this game, and results elsewhere go their way, the club can rise as high as third in the table. 

Liverpool’s U19 were knocked out of the UEFA Youth League as MSK Zilina secured a 2-1 win against the Reds. The young players of Liverpool managed to score early, but struggled to sustain the momentum in the second half.
